 “I never thought that my name Punkai would be used as the name of this site. It was totally unexpected. My talent in singing was discovered when I was little by my family. During my childhood days, I usually sing along with my sister whenever she rehearsed her piece for an amateur singing contest. When my parents specifically my mother heard me sang, she was amazed and let me joined “Little Miss Princess”. During the talent portion, I sang “Oh Darling” by the Beetles and the crowd was surprised that at my tender age of 4 I possessed a powerful voice.
Way back elementary and high school years, I am usually assigned as the Psalmist in our school. I realized that I should share this talent to everybody and give thanks to Almighty Father with the gift He bestowed upon me. Whenever there are singing contests being held in school, I mostly win for first price.
When I studied at Cebu Normal University, I bumped shoulders with other talented people also and eventually formed a band. Our band usually performed at school's activities, affairs and programs. It did not last long since we got to separate our ways after college graduation and find our luck in the real world.
Year 2008 was when my talent was exposed to the world of cyberspace when my boss heard me singing during one of our company's events. From then on, he let me started recording and revising songs either old or contemporary. Currently, I am on the stage of honing my singing skills and keep on improving more to provide quality entertainment to you guys! ;)” -- Punkai
